When I started my internet home based business I quickly learned that nothing comes for free and you have to work at it to become successful. I thought that I could make lots of money in a short period of time; well I couldn’t have been more wrong.
Yes, I got into the get rich quick scams to begin with, searching on the internet for ways to make money fast. First there was the “get paid for doing surveys” scheme. Then I thought that I could sell things on e-bay to make a quick buck. While there are lots of people doing this it’s not a way to get rich quick. Next was the pyramid scheme. In all my years of sales, a mistake that I see regularly is the belief that the objections to be overcome is the most important part of the sale.
More often than any other part of the sale is my advice on this request – as you overcome objections – common and rare – the customer has joined my team.
Members of my staff have asked, I jumped into the cold water of the pool of telephone sales and visits, I await what they have to dig holes in. Sometimes I succeed, but to other Sometimes I do not find, because without foundation has been built.
